The research foundation
A randomized venipuncture comparison of fifty participants reported mean pain of 1.8/10 with adaptive VR and tactile feedback, compared with 5.0/10 with static VR. This was a between-group result for a combined intervention.
What to agree before an evaluation
Define the department, population, procedure, product version, standard care and evaluation question. Review suitability, consent and oversight, training, cleaning, support, data handling and local requirements before an evaluation begins.
